Buda Folk Band The Buda Folk Band is a Hungarian folk music ensemble consisting of young city dwellers. They were literally born into folk music, since their parents and teachers belong to the generation which instigated the dance house movement in the mid 1970s. The stimulating effect of home rehearsals and regular field work accompanied their teenage years and later they refined their skills in folk music schools and by playing together with traditional village musicians.
Cimbalom Duo (BALOGH Kálmán - LUKÁCS Miklós) It takes two to bring out the wonderful subtlety and expressive power of the cimbalom. Thus Kálmán Balogh and Miklós Lukács joined forces in 2009, to acquaint audiences with their art the potential in this emblematic instrument. The result is novel and poignant; jazz meets folk under the flag of musical proficiency.
Harmonia Garden The Harmonia Garden was found in 2006 by five talented young professional musicians. The band drives the listeners for an exotic journey by the music. You can recognize the tunes of the 18th century Csárdás (Czardas) or 19th century European folksongs over the 20th century django jazz standards until nowadays movie soundtracks such as the James Bond theme or the moving picture 'Chocholat' (2000).
Söndörgő It’s difficult to believe that this youthful band from north of Budapest have already celebrated 15 years together, yet their virtuosity and verve leave no doubt that collaborations with Balkan stars such as Boban Markovic and Ferus Mustafov have been earned on merit.

SZALÓKI Ági Ági Szalóki is a self-taught diva excelling in every genre her many-sided talent drives her to try. She shines on ’From Mouth to Mouth’, along with two other definiteve folk singers of her generation. A spellbinding performer, she has toured worlwide with folk bands, her own projects, in the company of other renowned musicians.
Tükrös Ensemble A true representative of genuine folk tradition, Tükrös is ready to enchant with rare treasures at Womex 2011. Their recent shows include a concert in the prestigious MÜPA concert hall, 17 May 2011, along with other definitive performers of the genre. Their latest album, Our Transylvanian Heath won the Fonogram award for Authentic Hungarian Folk Music in 2010. Tükrös’s club events ensure the public have constant and immediate access to the joy and beauty folk music.
Tűz lángja Tűz lángja band was formed in 2003 by two young musicians from Tordas(HU), Soma Salamon, and Krisztián Kiss. The expression "Tűz Lángja" means "the flame of the fire", it's the name of a dance from the Moldva region.
